STEM Signage.png

I learn at homeschool was a homeschool pod before homeschool pods were a thing. I formed a preschool pod hiring a teacher for my 3 little preschoolers. I have always wanted to parent choice educate with the help of professional teachers, charters, and the amazing homeschool community. We formed a micro pod in my house. We hired teachers and invited a few friends to join. It was the best. When the kids got to Kindergarten and we qualified to join a charter school, we did! We expanded, we joined homeschool centers, made more friends and joined the amazing world of homeschooling and parent choice education. One of the centers we joined, was a STEAM Ed program. It was an amazing program that we were so blessed to be apart of for the 2 years before the pandemic took it away. I looked for something similar but there was nothing that compared. So here I am bringing back our micro pod, slightly different this time. We are no longer a preschool but a STEM Matters Program. Mondays only. I am so happy to help put this together with the help of these amazing teachers for my children and to share with our homeschool community. Hope some of you join us!

The building of creative minds through Science and Engineering practices occurs through hands on projects and labs in which mistakes can happen. This allows students to redesign and find success that is uniquely their own. With this freedom of experimentation, students develop the confidence to explore without the fear of failure.
