Week 8 Part 1

Pilgrims and Pie, Oh My! Letter of the week is Pp, Number 6, Shape Circle, and Color Blue. Today we Red "Pete the Cat: The First Thanksgiving" By James Dean and "One Little, Two Little, Three Little Pilgrims" By B. G. Henessey.

We made Pete the Pilgrim Tissue Plates, Pilgrim Hats, Dissolving Pumpkin Science Experiment, Thanksgiving Pilgrim Patterns, and Pumpkins in a Row. We also had a nice Nature walk to the Park.

We made these really cool Foam Pilgrim's Hats. What's different about this activity from all the rest we've done so far is they get a packet and then have to listen and follow instructions one step at a time.

Why Yes, that is my son in his Iron Man Costume, turns out he wanted to wear it everyday to School ... Sure why not... Be free to express yourself child!

For Lunch the kids made Pumpkin Bread with Walnuts, and I made Silly Owls on their tray from Apples, grape and Peanut Butter and Jelly Sushi Rolls with a side of Mango Chips.
