G is for Grinchmas

Today we ready "How th Grinch Stole Christmas" By Dr. Seuss and "Bear Stays Up for Christmas" By Karma Wilson.

We had a lot of fun Grinch themed activities where we made Grinch Handprints, Grinch Slime, Melt the Grinch's Heart-Sensory Play, To Make The Grinch Grin I Would... and we played Grinch Tag

We also had a Prewriting activity and practiced Name Writing our Names!

Melt the Grinch's Heart-Sensory Play was fun green ice cubes with mini hearts the kids used scoopers to scoop salt onto the ice to watch it melt. It was so much fun that we revisited it later for free play and played with the ice water and ice cubes in a bowl. The kids just loved stirring it around.
